Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources aren't rewarded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To create them, you require a higher-quality token to reroll. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next success result is repeated. This helps you save upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item upgrading's current level and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. It's an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. Furthermore players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. The process will continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade item components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied and an initial level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can place an item to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an Best item upgrade will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item upgrades is 19.

Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available to it. Likewise, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools to give an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrading an item level upgrade can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.

Some items benefit from upgrading less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you select an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
