World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

item level upgrade upgrading allows players to increase the gear score of an item upgrader mod to 700, and then add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory and heading to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their unique stats. (For example, a perfectly rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items, like weapons don't really change after an upgrade and aren't worth it.

Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded to increase their numeric stats such as damage to attack, crit chance PvE and PvP damage. Weapons also come with a flat bonus that increases their damage per second. A lot of weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a group. In certain instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon depends on its rarity and level. For instance, a +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue to rise until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.

Upgrades to weapons will also reroll the stats of the base. This is usually a positive thing, but it can also have negative consequences. Upgrades can render items unusable, unless you are extremely lucky.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to improve their stats. In the case of chests or helms, this will increase its base defense while gloves and belts enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor also offers a reroll option for its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it may reroll to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading along with the values of these stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon receiving 33% attack damage. However the 3% does not mean that it will strike for 3 times less often because it's an absolute statistic.

A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button that has circling arrows in the item menu. This will reroll an item level upgrade and alter its stats, but it will not reset the weapon's levels, or bind it to account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make the world of difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE increases in resistance to curses, poison and fire as well as magic. This makes it easier to traverse difficult terrains. In general, the more defense you have for your character, the more health you'll gain from each point. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade item your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four in total and each one requires you to complete a special side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've done the main side quest and have completed the fountain that corresponds you'll be able to contact any Great Fairy to open up the menu for upgrading your armor.

The amount of materials required to upgrade each piece of armor is different. It is possible to use anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a large group of enemies in the majority of cold environments, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to survive an entire raid with a few friends.

It isn't possible to upgrade armor in the same way as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior then you should concentrate on upgrading your armor for physical power or the power of spells. It is recommended to save your armor upgrades to upgrade the armor that you will still be wearing at the end of the story, such as the Ring of Lightning, Spectral Shield or the mask you'll wear in the final boss fight, the Monter Parts Merchant Mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town in Gerudo Town, you can unlock perks for your armor. Generally speaking, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to win the game such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have some improvements to the chest armor and helmets that allow you to stealth around certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are substances in bottles that, when consumed, give the user an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions, each with specific effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, enhancing their effectiveness. You can also increase the effects of certain potions by adding glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount XP. This can be earned through crafting them on a table, or by storing them in the Alchemist chest. However, the upgrade price will vary based on the type of potion you'd like to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potion simply right-click on it in your inventory. Select "Upgrade" from the menu. This will open an GUI that allows you to select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they will offer when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade until you use it again or break the bottle it's stored in. You can also rename the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few changes to the way potions are used. For example, splash potions now have an average duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds shown on the item hover display). The potion table is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons like Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron, it drains the contents and replenishes the bottle.

Finally, there are lingering potions, which are brewed with dragon breath and splash potions. Similar to lingering potions, the effect can be extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to look more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added, for instance, the potion of leaping as well as decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket could be an ornamental item that is small, cheap or piece of jewelry. It could also refer to an ornament or object that serves a function but isn't important as a trinket. In some cultures, a trinket can be used to express affection or friendship between family members.

In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Trinkets like other items which can be upgraded can be exchanged at any time without losing stats.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased using tokens, gold or fragments of rare trinkets.

The upgrade of a trinket can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new ones. It is possible to upgrade players for just 12 tokens. The new trinket comes with the same level of base as the old trinket, however, it will also come with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Trinkets can be upgraded when the old ones are not needed and allows players to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players and are an extremely popular alternative to gold.

In general players should upgrade their top-priority items first. This means that the Best item upgrader-in slot items for each class are first upgraded before their secondary gear and other pieces of equipment that won't replace anytime soon (such as an earring or a cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player then they should consider upgrading their helm, chest and shoulders.

Trinkets can be upgraded to a higher ilvl once they no longer have value, and the new trinket will have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. However, a re-upgrade can ruin the previous trinket, unless it is salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than buying the new one.
