The i3+ EVO, unlike some of the other robot vacuums we tested comes with a self vacuum-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris in an external dirt container on its charging base when it's full. The i3+ EVO is able to prevent overfilling thanks to a self cleaning vacuum-emptying container. However it still needs to be emptied manually at the end of each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's inner dustbin holds 2.4L of waste that is more than enough to get it through several cleaning sessions before you have to replace it.

The i3+ EVO, just like the i7 uses state-ofthe-art floor-tracking sensors that create maps. It can also allow you to navigate through neat rows. However, the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 can store multiple. The i7's map is used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones however, not the i3+ EVO.

While the i3+ EVO is more effective in picking up debris on surfaces than the other robovacs we reviewed, it's not the best when it comes to cleaning corners and edges. It's also not as gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It pushed chairs away from walls, and made some collisions with the sides of our bed, and got stuck on cords and toys during testing.
