What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget at the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to buy upgrades.

Another way to increase the chances of a successful upgrade is to use an item called Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is helpful in the event that you have a weapon or piece of gear that has reached the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. This item lets you upgrade the equipment to the next level without the risk of it breaking.

If an upgrade fails the upgrade will be reversed to its original state. This is typically a downgrade, but could also be an upgrade. It is recommended to save an upgrade for when you're close to the highest level of an item, and then use it as an option last resort.
