If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that doubles into a car seat carrier, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop comfortable.

It's easy to push and it feels solid when you are walking along woodland paths and kerbs. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate lightweight stroller, both for urban dwellers as well jet-setters. This is due to its super nimble maneuverability and fold-down design that can be incorporated into the overhead baggage of an aircraft. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels that is made of Hytrel elastomer that allows it to perfectly navigate across all types of surfaces and terrain'.

The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 frame and 6months of colour pack are combined to create a stylish pushchair with a delicate elegant design. The frame's base weight is less than a kilogram and is so light that you can lift it from the box with just one hand.

The hood, for example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 in a reassuring manner. It is machine washable at 30 degrees which helps avoid the stains that result from smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram starting from birth with the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted to a stroller after 6 months by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents who want an adaptable stroller wagon. It transforms from a stroller into a wagon just by flipping the handle, so parents can choose which mode they prefer on their journey. The wagon can fit two or three children ranging from 6 months to five years old. It has a large storage basket that can hold all your needs while on the go.

The Xplore also comes with two canopies that rotate from front to back, ensuring ample sun coverage for all family members. It also has a footwell, which is not as large or deep as other wagons, which means it may not be ideal for long-distance excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend like other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and fits through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent choice for parents looking for a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored well in our Strollers and Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store in a trunk of a car. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested but is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage, and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger canopy sizes.

It took us just under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a manual. All of the components required tools. It is missing certain features we consider essential for double strollers. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the most recent version of Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is described as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate babies from birth to around 3.5 years, converting easily between a carrycot and seat by just only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats, and comes with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It's really easy to manoeuvre and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. Despite being a small pushchair, it was able to handle the everyday bumps with ease and went through doorways without a hitch.

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or allow them to swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on an uneven path. It handled this reasonably well, even though it felt to be a bit more bumpy.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is famous for their all-terrain, 3-wheeler Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds up small enough to fit in a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It's heavier than other strollers we've tested, but because it comes with rubber composite wheels it feels sturdy and well-made. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain. It's easy to carry, even when loaded with two kids and shopping bags.

The carrycot and seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other prams' hoods which get bounced back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does come with a huge basket that's big enough to hold a changing bag and plenty of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for infants up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you require a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's an aluminum-framed stroller which can be used from baby's first days to beyond. It has many standout features, such as the ability of the seat to be turned between the front facing parent and the outside, a large UPF50+ canopy that has an eye-shade that flips out, as well as an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with an integrated suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are constructed from tough foam and minimise punctures. Our tester found it smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets with ease.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also be rolled and raised for easier transportation down the stairs or in the car's boot. It also comes travel system ready with the option to add a car seat or carrycot using the adaptors that come with it. The brakes are simple to use using a single action color coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This buggy single pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to maneuver and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold, and a handy carry strap. It's also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined in many positions and has a built-in double-breathable mattress that can be used from birth.

The canopy/seat features two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't the best because it's not as quiet as Velcro, and can awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a side-byside stroller and can be set up to accommodate twins or other siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin-mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or can be turned around to face their parents, potentially cutting down on sibling disputes over who sits with dad and mom. It comes with a massive bottle holder, a gear tray snack tray, and the ability to change mats. It also has a superior folding stand that folds down and a frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who want to keep active. It's among the lightest strollers for running that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with great safety features, such as the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety straps. It also comes with an innovative twist hand brake that's distinct from the lever-type that is found on other models.

The seat is padded and provides a wide area to sit. However the seat's isn't as deep as those of other runners (it's just 10 inches deep") The storage bin comes with an open-top cover that can be closed to keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds. It is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most bassinets and car seats for infants, but you can use them starting from the first day with adapters that will fit brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The instruction manual is simple to understand and includes multiple languages.
