Line-up

The album's third, Turn Back, marked an reversion to the classic sextet style of previous albums and was a more ferocious, consistent effort with a harder edge than Hydra. Its more punk-rock sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group and included drummer Bobby Kimball's improved proficiency on the drums, as well as an improved, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams.
