Hades 2 - Sign Up For a Playtest

The sequel to Supergiant Games 2020 roguelike Hades will be released in 2019. It's an ambitious decision that raises the stakes while offering a deeper insight into family politics.

Melinoe is back to kill Chronos the titan of time. Along the way she'll meet new gods and specters, including the personification of the light Apollo and the goddess of witchcraft Hecate, and the deity of retribution Nemesis.

1. Hades 2 Technical Test

If you're a fan Supergiant Games and their highly famous 2020 Roguelike Hades, then it might be worth your time to sign up to take part in the technical testing for the sequel. The studio has announced that an Early Access launch is on the horizon, and a playtest will help them to iron out any bugs in smaller numbers of players than the full 1.0 release.

Participants in the technical test will be able to choose various boons and rewards for every room they visit fight minibosses and enemies and take on the area's boss. They'll also have the option to select permanent upgrades and take on the challenge of "God Mode."

Hades 2 will feature more levels, foes, voiced characters, and key areas than the finished version of the original. However, those selected for the technical test will not be able to carry over their progress into the Early Access build. Supergiant is planning to "reset" the game back to the beginning when it reaches Early Access. This means that save data won't be transferred over.

2. Hades 2 Early Access

Hades 2 has officially entered early access and is available for purchase on Steam and Epic Games Store. Players who choose to buy the game will be able to play the early access version as well as the 1.0 full release once it is released in 2024, which Supergiant Games has confirmed will occur sometime in 2024.

The original Hades is an all-time classic. This sequel, however, is a complete ripoff in nearly every way. The roguelite has more depth and satisfying combat than ever before. It feels like a fully-realized game that is just waiting for a few final details to become an outstanding game.

Supergiant has also tweaked the gameplay in the early-access version. This has reduced some of the work required to obtain certain upgrades, and makes it easier to move between areas. There's much work to be done before the game is released for full release, but the studio has made it clear that it's determined to make the most of user feedback and keep working to bring Hades 2 to a perfect state.

Supergiant is famous for its ability to listen to its customers, and address any issues that arise. 3. Hades 2 Beta

Hades was a roguelike that was unlike any other when it came out in 2018. The game has won numerous awards and is considered to be one of the best games ever created.
