What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

Some upgrades also provide a secondary random boost in addition to stat enhancements. These boosts can be quite important and should be considered when deciding on which items to upgrade. Certain of these boosts may only be used in certain builds (such a Whistan's Shield for FB Sorcs) While others are beneficial to collectors.

Some items come with built-in boos which is less beneficial when upgraded. For example, the Goldwrap provides extra slots for potion. They are often upgraded to add value to a nearly perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades are accompanied by some associated costs. The first cost is the upgrade itself. This cost can be expensive and is dependent on the new ilvl of the item and the number of perks it gets. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).

The other is the cost of the materials required for an upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The amount of these materials needed can be found in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.

It takes time to upgrade an item upgrader mod. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it can take as long as 8 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonus, perks, as well as other properties. This calculation determines new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other important stats. In some cases the upgrade can grant additional perks that can be selected from a list of available perks.

The chance of success will be enhanced if you boost your chances of receiving a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.

Failure Rate

The upgrader of an item allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. These slots can be utilized to upgrade an item or apply an enhancement. However, it is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item will determine the rate at which it can be upgraded and enchanted. The higher the rank, the more Zen and items you will need to upgrade it.
