3. Miele RX2

Known for quietly effective home appliances, Miele's RX2 robot vacuum has excellent cleaning power, gorgeous design and great navigation. It has a few oddities in its operation, which prevent it from being considered the best sweep and mop robot smart robot vacuum.

Like iRobot's latest models and models, the RX2 comes with dual-sensor mapping technology that utilizes the LIDAR sensor to map a room and three 3D scanning cameras to detect and avoid obstacles (like furniture legs or pet waste) in real-time. Once the room is mapped the app allows you to designate virtual no-go zones and preferred areas that the robot will automatically clean. You can also start cleaning manually or change the cleaning mode, watch live feeds from the onboard cameras and more on the main screen.

The sensors of the RX2 work well by registering furniture and obstructions in real-time. The suction and sweeping capabilities are excellent, getting rid of surface litter from medium pile carpeting and also removing dust that has been deposited on floors. However, it's not the most efficient robot available. It's not the greatest climber and has issues with transition strips made of metal.

Although the 980's battery life and bin size isn't as efficient as other robot vacuums it's a sturdy and reliable machine that will keep your floors clean for hours and hours.
